Rambling Road To WrestleMania: Week 4
My Picks To Win At WrestleMania - By Emma
Right now we have four matches we know are set to take eplace at WrestleMania; the biggest event of the year. A win at WrestleMania can be the biggest event in any wrestlers career.
The Rock vs. John Cena
This match has given us many funny sayings and great promo’s leading up to it. When it is all said and done I believe this man will have his hand raised in victory…
First off, I want to point out this does not mean I am a Cena fan, not saying that at all. I feel John Cena will win because 1) All the little kids will be happy 2) While the Rock has been gone Cena has still been there and has been talking about the match and The Rock without him there to interupt trying to get more people behind him. The Rock is big too which made it hard for me to try and predict who would win. Either way I see Cena winning this match up. I mean John Cena has to have his big Mania moment doesn’t he?
Top 2 Topics
First off sorry i have been gone my computer has been broken. I have it back although I am convinced the new hardrive hates me. Anyways i had to spend sometime catching up. Im happy to be back.
Okay so i have tried to do structured articles and its doesnt always work for me so this will just be me kind of throwing my mind otu there on the some of the stuff happening sorry if some of it is not completly recent.Okay so here we go………………………………………….
TOPIC #1
Chris Jerico Returning
Okay so im sure that a majority of you who read this will diasgree many of you are probably happy he is back. Me not at all i am very open about hating Chris Jericho. Why? well its hard to explain but its starts in a simple area he has never impressed me. How? His move-set for one is just plain balh normal in my opinion. Now i realize ever finisher is generally just a simple move with a special name to make it sound and seem cooler. His big move is the walls of Jericho. A elevated boston crab is suppose to be cool and give us a cool and entertaining? Not at all then agian alot but not all submission finishers are pretty lame. The Codebreaker is just lame in my opinion. On the mic he is better than others so i guess i cannot complain about him in that department.
His actual return was the stupidest thing i have ever seen. He keeps us all waiting then his music hits. Instantly I am screaming no.I see his coat and instanly think what a loser. Then he just screams and enjoys the cheers and says absolutly nothing? Really? How much more lame could you be? There are certian times when not talking during a return works and this was most definatly not one of them. Pointless and stupid then agian i suppose WWE couldnt think of anything better for the so called Best In The World At What He Does.
Topic #2
Evan Bourne 2nd suspension
Okay i love Evan Bourne and his first suspension i was just like oh yeah whatever probably will not happen agian. But it did and I am dissapointed. Never could have guessed Evan of all wrestlers would do this twice. He took to his twitter to apologize. Saying
“Sorry y’all. Sometimes we become our own worst enemy,”. Well apperently thats for sure but you only have yourself to blame. And Evan at this point will be lucky if he doesnt get released. I do not want to see him released but it wont be a surprise if he does end up released. He screwed Kofi over on this too which is sad. I certiantly don’t take his apology to serious becuase this is his second time. I hope Evan gets to stick around and all but i highly doubt that can happen. Not gonna dwell on this too much I am extremely dissapointed end of story.
So yeah those would be my 2 major topics of the week. Sorry this is short hope to get competly caught up soon.
The other sides of Matt Morgan
“The Blueprint” Matt Morgan is as we all know a TNA wrestler. He is 7 ft. tall and 328 lbs. He debuted in 2002. He is defiantly a great wrestler. However he has done more than professional wrestling. What do you know about the other sides of Matt Morgan?
Basketball “career”
He had a successful high school basketball career at Fairfield High School in Connecticut. He played Division I college basketball with Monmouth University at center position. During his freshman year at the university, the Monmouth Hawks defeated Rider University to become the Northeast Conference champions. By winning the conference tournament, Morgan and the Hawks received an automatic bid to the 1996 NCAA tournament. He had professional tryouts with the NBA’s Indiana Pacers and Toronto Raptors, but was not offered a contract by either team.
American Gladiator “The Beast”
In 2008, Morgan accepted an offer to appear on the third series of American Gladiators as one of the Gladiators. Morgan, under the name Beast, made his Gladiator debut during the first night of the semi-finals in the joust. Joust is probably exactly what your imaging if you haven’t ever seen the show If you have then you know what it is. There are two small platforms and basically you get stick thingy’s and try and knock them off into the water below. He defeated each of his two opponents in less than eight seconds.
Morgan was not the only male gladiator with a connection to professional wrestling. One of the popular Gladiators Justice who came in at 6’8″, 290 lbs Tried out for WWE during the fourth season of Tough Enough.

WWE Best Pay per View Matches 2009-2010 DVD/Special
Okay so to be honest I do not know it this is a DVD or not. Basically the site I use to watch DVDs, specials, and raw and smackdown has this in the DVD and other specials. Not that that it is long but this will be a 2 part thing because I really would rather not watch all of it today. So here we go.
Backlash 2009-Edge vs. John Cena-Last Man Standing Match-For the World Heavyweight Championship
The classic Cena match. He gets his big moments but then as always Edge is back to his feet. It goes back and forth. Right as it seems Cena was going to get his Attitude Adjustment Big Show shows up. I am sure we all remember where it goes from here. Into the spotlight Cena goes. And Edge wins it. I remember this moment thinking it was weird I was so sure as always super Cena was going to win. WWE it begins 2012!!
WWE-It Begins 2012
I am sure you have all heard about it. Probably all have watched the video! As you know a youtube user link has shown up through static on wwe shows recently. When you look it up you get a video claiming that on January 2nd a familiar force will return and take what’s his. Well with many theories out I want to take a look at most the names and theories I have seen put out there and the “Proof” that is if there is any and what makes me think not so much. But I will leave it up to you as to who you think it is.
Undertaker-A lot have stated thinking it is Undertaker. It does have sort of a dark feel. However there isn’t much to make me believe it is him. There is the fact some say the kid is a young Paul Bearer. “Come my people and shut thy doors about the” is from Isaiah 26:20. Undertaker tends to stay away from religious things. He leans more demons and evil forces. Another major key to this video is that on the channel the age is set at 43 and Undertaker is 46! Lastly youtube and static does not seem like something Undertaker would do. I know I point out a lot of nots and nothing really pointing towards him but that is because I really do not see anything that really points to taker. Read more
Where WWE Went Wrong
Where WWE Went Wrong: Survivor Series edition
Alright this is something I want to start doing. It’s a simple idea I will write articles about where I think WWE went wrong with anything from wrestlers, tag teams, ppvs in general, anything really. And since it’s a Pay per View Weekend I want to have it be related to the Pay per View. So here I go.
Where WWE went wrong Survivor Series 2011! In my mind it is a huge mistake to have Dolph Ziggler in two matches. It makes sense to have him be defending the United States championship however there was much better choices to replace Christian. Dolph is not bad however he gets rather bland after a while both his wrestling style and his attitude. Well maybe bland is the wrong word for his attitude in the attitude area he gets annoying after a while.
So what match would I take him out of? To be honest I like the idea of Ziggler vs. Morrison. So I would keep that match and take him out of the traditional SS tag team match. Why? Well a 1 on 1 match will better show off his skills. And that’s one forgotten thing. What will display your talents better is what happens to be better for your career. Now maybe its just me but I would love to see Ziggler retain the title.
Another annoying factor of 2 Dolph Ziggler matches! Vickie Guerrero. This means we get to see more of her. Hear more and more of her screaming! Now we would hear her for 2 matches anyway because of Jack Swagger however she will stay ringside during the tag match until/if both Ziggler and Swagger get eliminated. Where are if Ziggler was not in it the instant Swagger was gone she would be gone. All in all more annoying Vickie.
What do you think?
Wrestling Society X
Wrestling Society X was a short lived wrestling promotion on MTV. Short lived literally. Going from January 30, 2007 to March 14, 2007. It was presented as a secret society of wrestling that used a venue referred to as the WSX Bunker, complete with an artificially worn-out looking ring for its matchups. All Matches Were Falls Count Anywhere. unorthodox approach to pro wrestling; this included frequent use of highly expressive plants, crowd sound effects, electrical sound effects, visual effects, and camera shaking when a wrestler would fall prey to electrical weapons.
It originally aired Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m. ET, to “compete” with the second half of ECW on Sci Fi. The WSX Championship was the only title featured and defended on the program.
The person who wrestled for wrestling society x who has found the most success after the show is defiantly Matt Sydal aka Evan Bourne.
This show only had 9 aired episodes however there was an unaired 10th episode. This is my next project for multiple reasons. So I will be watching an episode each week doing something about that episode. Plus various articles about various things such as tag teams. Ending with a conclusion article. So if you want to be able to watch episodes of the show contact me for a link to the videos.
Just need to touch up on this real quick. To anyone who watches Lucha Libre USA you know is wasn’t on this morning. They are off air for now due to many fans complaining about their time slot. So when they find a better slot they will return.
Lucha Libre USA 10/15/11
We start with tag team action. The Team of PR Powers face off against Rudisimo. A match of great team work. Great moves. I enjoyed watching PR Powers most because they kept it exciting. And defiantly had the most connection in this match as a tag team. Some flashy moves here and there but it was mostly just like any other tag team match. An unknown masked man who has been terrorizing Lucha Libre USA came out both team worked together to get rid of them. Then another unknown masked man came out and cost PR Powers the Match. Rebecca Reyes could not identify these men backstage as they ran and drove away.
Next was Sydisdiko as he faced off against Marco Conleone. Basic match a lot of powerful slams kicks and of course punches. However the numbers game was played when Rellik and Lizmark Jr. come out. They all took turns beating up on Marco. However as we all know someone was going to come to save him. Although I saw it coming I was extremely pleased to see Shane Helms yes you read correctly Shane Helms come to the rescue.
The last match of the night came when Rj Brewer went against Magno. The wager if Rj lost he would lose his hair and if Magno lost he would lose his match. First thing I need to say here is that RJs “girlfriend” looked very familiar and when they said her name I flipped out. It was Lizzy Valentine who is no stranger to wrestling on MTV. She was a part of the short lived wrestling series on MTV called Wrestling Society X. And I recognized her from it because she was Matt Sydal (Evan Bourne’s) on screen girlfriend for the show. It was very weird for me to see her playing someone else’s “girlfriend.” Anyways on to the match first distraction came when RJ’s partner tried to come as a distraction however super nova took him away. Then Lizzy gave him hair clippers which the ref took away. While the ref wasn’t looking she gave him a chain which he then hit Magno in the head with. He got the 3 count but the ref restarted the match when the chain was spotted. In the end Magno won. And despite the attempts for RJ to run away he ended up getting his hair shaved.
SOMEONE WHO WRESTLER/WORK FOR LUCHA LIBRE USA YOU SHOULD RECOGNIZE #1
I will try and do this every now and then at the end of my article expessicaly if they are a review like this. So Person #1 is REBBECA REYES. Many of you probably know her as Reby Sky. She has done a lot of modeling in her life. Was born and raised in Queens. However she is Puerto Rican. She does some backstage interviews and wrestles too. She is widely known as Matt Hardy’s girlfriend. And that is Person #1 you should recognize.
Intro To Lucha Libre Usa
Professional wrestling is usually thought to be considered WWE TNA an all those other big promotions. But when you hear pro wrestling does Lucha Libre USA ever come to your mind? No? Yes? Maybe so? Well it does for me.
I have recently started watching mtv2’s Lucha Libre USA. And honestly I love it. Its 100% different from other wrestling companies. Different in the way its run. Different in the way it feels when you watch it. But it is all a good different. A very good different.
I like it because for one I am a huge fan of highflyers. And these wrestlers all are highflyers. Its great very high amounts of energy. I love wrestlers who are highflyers because I never know what to see next. As you know I named Evan Bourne as the best highflyer right now recently. And I still stick to that.
This show always has explosive moves. Very high energy. Lots and Lots of masks. But its Mexican wrestling what more could you expect right? With people such as Rebecca Reyes aka Reby Sky, Lizmark Jr., Super Nova, and many great others. This truly is Mexican wrestling north of the border.
Starting today I will be doing my articles about Lucha Libre USA. I look forward to it. For those who don’t know how to catch Lucha Libre USA it is on MTV2 at 10pm on Saturdays.
